Catering to the ever growing interest jun the sport of River Boating, and a personal interest himself in Canoeing & Kayaking, he began selling to neighbors and friends. He was instrumental in getting the United States Canoe Association and Pennsylvania Association of Canoeing & Kayaking to have the Canoeing & Kayaking Nationals and State Race to come to Warren, PA.
In the energy crunch of the 1980s Dave began selling products designed for saving on fuel costs. Realizing the future of wood heating products, He became one of the leaders in chimney safety.to this day a proper chimney is one of his specialties. Wiggers prides himself on proper installation, care, and service. He has attended many technical schools and training seminars on energy savings, chimney relining & pellet stove service. One of his specialties is working on used pellet stoves to recondition them. Dave stands behind his used stoves to the point of giving them a full season warranty!
